The Team

  KIM RAY

Kim was born a long time ago in Surrey and comes from a sporting/fitness background. Long distance running and playing netball for the county as a girl, dance and fitness as an adult.

Kim was introduced to the line dancing world in 1997 and began teaching in early 1998. She opened Bluegrass Line Dancers in 1999. Kim is a grandma three times over and is very proud of her beautiful, very clever granddaughters, Megan Isabella and Liberty Hope and her grandson Alfie James.

Over the years Kim has had the privilege of working with some of the world's top line dance choreographers/instructors/personalities and has made many good friends along the way.

Kim has the ability to teach in a fun and easy manner. The Bluegrass moto is fun, keep smiling and enjoy yourself. Within her classes they encourage good dance floor etiquette, applauding fellow dancers and are keen to promote individual flair and style.

  PHIL PARTRIDGE

Phil was born locally and comes from a musical background (but don't ask him to sing!!).

Phil was forced into line dancing by his wife Sue and hasn't looked back.

Although Phil is now running his own club, he regularly DJ's at Kim's workshops and events doing a fabulous job. He is also a regular dancer at her classes.

THE DIAMOND DOLLIES (aka Dolly Dollops)

Annmarie Sparrow, Sue Partridge, Lyn Bull & Sandie Pennington

The girls can be seen most weeks at Kim's Milton Keynes classes with Lyn and Sandie regularly helping out at her beginners class. Annmarie travels most Wednesdays with Kim to attend and assist in the back row of her Wednesday class.

The Dolly Dollops are a godsend at her workshops - attending to the door, raffle and filling the tea urn!!!

Fabulous..........

  WEBMASTER

Adrian has been dancing for six years and teaching for two years.

You will see Adrian most weekends out and about on the dance floor.

RAFFLE CALLER

Liberty, Kim's granddaughter, is now the Club's official Raffle Caller.

Liberty calls the colours and numbers much clearer than most adults and always congratulates the winner with a very clear 'Well Done'.

You have to see this little girl in action to believe it!!

  LYN WILLATS

Our dear friend and one of the original 'Diamond Dollies' passed away on Saturday 7 November 2009 after a short fight against cancer.

She is greatly missed and thought of often by her friends.

'If Love Could Have Saved Her, She Would Be With Us Now'
